How Our AI Voice Assistants Works

A step-by-step look at the setup, the moving parts, and what you receive when we build your ai voice assistants.

The Technical Details

Voice is less forgiving than chat because a caller cannot scroll back, so the design starts with what happens when the system is wrong. Disclosure comes first: the caller is told they are speaking with an automated assistant at the opening, not buried in a menu, because that is both the honest default and a legal requirement in a growing number of states. Recording and consent follow whatever the caller's jurisdiction requires, determined from the inbound number rather than assumed. Barge-in is enabled so a caller can interrupt, since a system that talks over someone reads as broken regardless of how well it understands. Recognition confidence is thresholded, and a low-confidence turn triggers a confirmation rather than an action, because acting on a misheard appointment time costs more than asking again. Transfer to a person is always reachable by saying so plainly, and the transfer carries the transcript so the caller does not restart. Numbers, dates and spellings are read back before anything is committed. Latency is treated as a feature: a pause longer than a natural beat is filled or the turn is handed over, because silence on a phone line is indistinguishable from a disconnection.
